Job Description:
Reach Clothing is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Screen Printing Press Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in learning and growing within the apparel manufacturing industry, as no prior experience is required. As a Screen Printing Press Operator, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality printed garments that reflect our brand's standards.

 

Pay Range:

$13-$15

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate screen printing equipment, including automatic and manual presses, to produce printed designs on clothing items.

• Assist in the preparation of screens, inks, and other materials needed for the printing process.

• Load and unload garments onto the printing press, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.

• Mix and adjust ink colors as necessary to match design specifications.

• Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain print accuracy and clarity.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

• Collaborate with the design team to understand the printing requirements and ensure designs are executed accurately.

• Keep work area organized and tidy to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

• Inspect printed garments for defects and inconsistencies, making necessary corrections or adjustments.

• Assist in quality control by ensuring that finished products meet established standards.

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment.

• Learn and adapt to new printing techniques and technologies as they are introduced.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience in screen printing is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.

• Basic understanding of color theory and design concepts is a plus.
